i never posted about the lp show i went to on the 4th at the staples center in la. when we went we didnt know where we were seated or anything, we got the tickets from chester's tour manager' assistant. we got them at will call and the tickets included these little pass thingys we didnt know what they did. so, before linkin park was on we decided to go around asking and we went into the elevator of the place, showed the little dude working the elevators and he punched the button and it took us into the basment of the place.

down there was where they keep all the bands instruments and stage equipment. there was this hallway that wrapped around the whole center and it was concrete, all of it; walls and floor. we went down it a ways and there was this vip room and where they had the meet & greet. we tried to get into the meet & greet but they didn't let us. i was pretty bummed because i really wanted to meet chester. so we went into the little vip room and in there was fergie, how fucking random right? anyways she left the vip room and so i followed her, smart move.

when i walked out there was the band out in the hallway taking pictures with their little platinum plaques they all had. after they took the pics the band just fans out in the hallway and so i followed chester and i got to meet him!! finally. so we we're chatting talking about the escalade he just got from my uncle and how he's been sick and almost canceled the show. i wanted a hug but he said "i'm sick you don't want to hug me" and so i was all -.-.

then, my dad was talking to chester's brother and what he does and he still lives in phoenix and flies police helicopters there and flies into newport beach all the time to visit chester. might i add, i live in newport fucking beach. so i told him about chester not hugging me and so his brother gave me a hug and said "you're pretty so i'll give you a hug" i was all AWWWW. it was cute. so, his brother got chester to sign my little pass and when he did i basically begged him for a hug and he finally was all "fine, get over here" and he hugged me. might i add, it was a real hug not some whimpy one guys do when they see each other. it was at least 8 seconds. ha.

at that point i was practically giggling and flailing. i pretty much didnt give a fuck about the show or if he canceled. i was like, fuck he should cancel so he can rest his voice and during the show you could tell he was having some difficultly with his vocals but he did pull it together and they still did two encores reguardless. it was insane. so that was my little lp show experience. haha. i've seen them 6 times before but i never got to meet chester until then.
